Distribution Strategy of Apple I Speaker
Distribution
Strategy:
The
I-speaker is distributed through several channels. One major channel of
distribution is the Apple store. Apple stores are a chain of retail stores that
are owned by the Apple Inc. and deal in computers and consumer electronics. Apart
from it the large electronics retailers are also used as distribution channels
for the Apple products like I-speakers. Other major partners of Apple like
Amazon.com also sell the Apple products.
Pricing
Strategy:
Apple’s
premium pricing strategy is based on its product differentiation model. Apple
always creates a premium product and charges a premium price for it (Nielson,
2014). Despite the presence of similar products in the market, Apple’s products
are differentiated on the basis of their quality. However, in case of the Apple
I speaker will be priced at slightly lower than the premium range and closer to
the mid-range. This is mainly because of the direct competition from the
similar products by Amazon.
